“Every day at The Pingle Academy, we aspire to be the best version of ourselves at all times. My staff and students make me smile, they make me proud and I wouldn’t want to work anywhere else as we are all committed to excellence and achieving the best for our students within our care. To be part of something special, is to be part of Affinity Learning Partnership.”

I grew up in Nottingham and developed a strong interest in sport, representing at a high level in netball and tennis. Inspired by dedicated teachers, I worked hard academically, completing A Levels in English, Biology and Sociology before pursuing a career in teaching. My time at university showed me the life-changing impact a strong education can have.

I progressed through leadership roles to become Principal of Hartshill School before moving to Granville Academy in 2020. Leading Granville through a period of significant improvement was a source of great pride, driven by a shared commitment to serving our community. After four years, I took on an executive role supporting The Pingle Academy and now serve as its substantive Principal, while continuing to support leadership development at Granville.

I am excited to work across both academies, including Sixth Form and ERS provision, bringing together their strengths to create high-quality opportunities for students, staff and the wider community. I am passionate about excellence and proud to lead staff and students who are committed to achieving the very best outcomes as part of the Affinity Learning Partnership. It is a privilege to hold this role, and I look forward with enthusiasm to the future at The Pingle Academy.
