Trust Early Help Practitioner

“Being part of Affinity Learning Partnership means contributing to a Trust that places real value on the communities it serves. The values support consistency, collaboration and helping families achieve positive, sustained change.”

I am an experienced practitioner with over 25 years of dedicated service supporting children, young people, and families within my local community. For the past decade, I have worked as an Early Help Practitioner, delivering targeted interventions to improve outcomes, strengthen family resilience, and prevent escalation to statutory services.

Prior to this, I spent 15 years as a Youth Worker, where I engaged young people in meaningful activities, provided guidance, and supported their personal and social development. This role enabled me to build strong, trusting relationships and develop a deep understanding of the challenges young people face.

Throughout my career, I have worked effectively within multi-agency partnerships, collaborating closely with social care, education, health professionals, the police, and local authority services. I have extensive experience in coordinating support plans, safeguarding children, and ensuring families receive timely and appropriate support.

My long-standing commitment to the local area has provided me with valuable insight into the community, allowing me to work effectively with diverse families and contribute to positive, sustainable change.
