Olga Basova

Trust Administration Assistant

“I truly enjoy being part of the Trust team that cares so much about making a welcoming space for our staff, children, and families. It’s wonderful to work with people who are genuinely passionate about what they do and dedicated to making a positive difference every single day.”

Learning has always been a big part of my life. I graduated with a degree in Linguistics and Translation in 2006, and I still have just as much passion for languages today. I also spent some time in Norway studying sustainable management, where I picked up some Norwegian.

My career has given me a real mix of experiences. I started out as a Personal Assistant and Translator, which taught me how to stay organised and connect with people from all different backgrounds. For a few years, I worked in the aviation industry, where I managed international contracts and databases, and had the opportunity to visit and support UN peacekeeping missions during my travels.

I’ve lived in the UK for over a decade now. For a while, I stepped back from full-time work to focus on my family, which was a very special time. I loved getting involved in my community by volunteering at our local toddler playgroup and serving on the parent committee at my children’s pre-school. It was a wonderful way to contribute to the environment that helps our little ones grow and thrive.

Now, as a Trust Administration Assistant, I am happy to play my part in keeping things running smoothly so that our environment remains supportive and positive for everyone.
